4 children were sent on  Sports Crew training at St.Leonards Academy. They will head the Sports Leaders who were trained by Mr. Varney. This initiative will start in September 2015.

Applied for the Sainsburys Games Mark (see online for criteria). Will be awarded in November 2015.

Sports Day

Initially postponed due to poor weather the  KS2 sports day was held on July 17th. Unfortunately there was a considerable amount of drizzle towards the end of the morning which meant cancelling the event.

KS1 Sports Day  took place on the afternoon of the 17th as the sun came out and dried  the field. All the children had a lovely afternoon.

Thank you to all the parents who came to support their children, especially in the morning during the rain!

It has been a very successful year and I hope to continue and build on the success we have had.
